...and it's not the sexy kind of hot either. It's the stinky, uncomfortable, moist kind. It's only May, I don't understand why Wednesday it was a comfortable 70F and then yesterday and today, we're pushing 100F. What the hell.

I've decided after finishing my next three pieces ("HinaSasuIno" fanart, Hyuuchiha cuteness, and "Behind The Mask" fanart) I'm going to focus on the bio-android body-switch story and re-doing my NIN*SYNC comic that I started last year.

I put off seriously working on the story mostly from nervousness. I'm afraid my writing will suck horribly and I'm intimidated about diving headlong into writing romance. I've never done romance before in my life. I was writing bullshit Mafia stories when I was 13, with overly twisted and confusing plots, and loose ends that I'd frequently forget to tie up.

I've increased my fanfic reading just to get my head into it. But oh my God, I can't believe some of the shit people post. How many songfics are there of Hinata getting up on stage at a karaoke bar to sing whatever song is popular to Naruto, confessing her feelings/confronting his cheating ways/telling him she's so over him and is seeing his best friend? How many times am I going to read about some poorly developed OC that's a thinly-veiled self-insertion whom everyone falls in love with, despite her tragic past/cursed powers/inability to trust or develop healthy relationships? How many times in one chapter can someone consistently spell important things from canon as "Kanoha", "Hianta", "Naurto", "Saskue", "Negi", "Garra", etc? A couple of times is understandable. EVERY SINGLE TIME is not.

I hope my writing at least surpasses that crap.

NIN*SYNC...put off for far too long. I started it even before the "Godparents" series, a year ago at least. I took a good look at it, and wow. It's in desperate need of...something. Massive improvements, yes, that's what it needs. I drew it before I saw everyone grown up in Shippuuden, so they all have older bodies with young faces! To tell you the truth, I drew it before I even learned how to draw properly. And I didn't know how to format a comic properly. And I wasn't funny back then apparently. It's just terrible. But it will be much better soon, all colored and everything. ~BlueQuartzFoxy once accurately guessed all the members of the group. But she listed six boys instead of five, so one of the boys she listed is not in the group: Naruto, Sasuke, Lee, Neji, Shikamaru, Kiba.

So yeah, those are my summer plans. Not like summer matters to a working stiff like me.

Summer movies are coming out! Anybody got plans?

Already saw "Forbidden Kingdom" and "Iron Man", and LOVED THEM. Like 90% of the people in the theater left before the "Iron Man" end credits finished, and they missed Samuel L. Jackson's little tidbit. Haha, they suck.

I really really really want to see "Prince Caspian". I'm iffy on "Indiana Jones", "The Incredible Hulk" and "Speed Racer". I'm so seeing "You Don't Mess With The Zohan" "The Dark Knight", "Tropic Thunder" and "Hancock". I'm interested in "Get Smart", "Kung-Fu Panda", and "The Love Guru". Damn, it's a shame a movie ticket costs $10.50 now.
